Best view of and access to the beach! Chalets well decorated with air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, WiFi, and hot water. Clean, spacious swimming pool above with bar, restaurant, and sitting area overlooking the lake. Staff very helpful and friendly. Restaurant good, but not as many options as one might expect at a resort. WiFi not very fast. Electricity was out when we arrived (due to regional problem), but they ran the Genset/generator 4-10 and 18-22. Lovely breeze from the lake all night, and amazing place to see sunrise and full moon rise. Prices are definitely in the European/U.S. range, with a single double bed chalet costing K1600 (or about US$ 90). Breakfast included.

A very beatiful lodge with lovely views of the natural lake and beach in front. The restaurant was also quite lovely and flexible and we were allowed to bring some fresh fish and mushrooms that they cooked very nicely for us. I definitely look forward to staying at this place in future

Great and relaxing resort right along Lake Bangweulu approximately 195 kilometers radius.

Beautiful location with stunning views of the lake from the poolside, the rooms and the bar. They offer good service and we're friendly. However, we visited off season and there was nobody staying - they should reduce prices in this period so you do that feel like the place is deserted.

This a beautiful lodge on the lakefront. My room just needed a little bit of attention with some loose fittings and malfunctioning air-con and refrigerator. The food was great with generous portions. They have a swimming pool near the terrace bar and are working on a second one behind the bar. Great place to be even with family.

Beautiful views, rooms well positioned for that wonderful lake view, rooms are clean and fairly spacious. The food is amazing, reception is warm with friendly staff. Its one of, if not the best in Samfya.

Last visited this place 5 years ago and the standards have been maintained. It is a beautiful place with an exhilarating lake view. The service is excellent and the members of staff are great. You have no worries about carrying your luggage no matter how heavy or how many bags you have because the members of staff are handy. The initial 'gun point physical exercise' from the car park to the reception and eventually the rooms is a great reminder to keep fit as one ascends. There is a wonderful swimming pool for those with a phobia of the lake or just want privacy. Despite the downside of the load shedding which causing interrupted supply of power,the lodge does its best to supply power through their Gen set at critical times so that guests are not inconvenienced. One thing that just affected our visit was the mosquitoes. The rooms apparently weren't sprayed especially that the breeding ground is the lake itself. This is one just one minor thing possibly due to a lapse by the members of staff. The breakfast is great and enough to see one run around the beach before get down for lunch. The is also oldies music for sake of memories coming from the bar to those who like relaxing by the bar. The rooms are great and airy and neat. There are also portions of sand by the pool if one doesn't want to go down to the beach.
